The improvement of the quality of life and social integration of people with substance addiction, in particular older people, is the aim of OLDIM (older drug addicts in motivational process). The motivation and curiosity of the concerned persons are an essential foundation for the change process. OLDIM aims to track motivation approaches by means of transnational exchange and enable employees to enhance their skills and expertise in dealing with this marginalised social group in counselling, outpatient and inpatient addiction facilities.
